I keep reading about what silky shifters Suzis are supposed to be, but this bike is not. Often, when I drop it into first from neutral there is a significant clunk, as though the clutch were dragging (but I don't think it is). Also, it takes a lot of effort to shift from fourth to fifth most of the time--there's a "snap" feeling in the shift lever when it finally takes.
Is this normal for this bike? I've only got about 250 miles on her so far. It also seems like there's a lot of drivetrain noise, but this is the first time I've had a big thumper, so it might just be me.
